Strategi Guru Pendidikan Agama Islam dalam Menerapkan Kurikulum Merdeka di SMA Negeri 1 Tukka

Abstract


This study examines Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers' strategies in implementing the Independent Curriculum at SMA Negeri 1 Tukka, which prioritizes student-centered learning, differentiation, and strengthening Pancasila character and Islamic values. Through a qualitative case study method with observation, interviews, and document analysis, four main strategies were identified: (1) differentiation of learning according to students' needs and learning styles; (2) project-based learning to develop religious reflection and practice; (3) integration of digital technology; and (4) instilling moral values through contextual activities. Obstacles such as limited facilities, variations in student abilities, and teacher adaptation were overcome through training, MGMP collaboration, and the use of creative media. The research findings emphasize the important role of teacher strategies in the successful implementation of the Independent Curriculum in Islamic Religious Education (PAI).
