Al-Murabbi Journal of Islamic Education is a journal published by Yayasan Al-Ahliyah Al-Islamiyah Aek Badak, Indonesia. This statement clarifies the ethical behavior of all parties involved in the publication of articles in this journal, including authors, the editor-in-chief, the Editorial Board, peer reviewers, and the publisher. This statement is based on the COPE Best Practices Guidelines for Journal Editors.
Journal Publication Ethics Guidelines
The publication of articles in Al-Murabbi Journal of Islamic Education is an important foundation in the development of a coherent and respected network of knowledge. It is a direct reflection of the quality of the author's work and the institutions that support it. Peer-reviewed articles support and embody the scientific method. Therefore, it is important to agree on standards of ethical behavior expected for all parties involved in the act of publishing: authors, journal editors, peer reviewers, publishers, and the public.
Yayasan Al-Ahliyah Al-Islamiyah Aek Badak, as the publisher of Al-Murabbi Journal of Islamic Education, carries out its duties of oversight over all stages of publication very seriously, and we are aware of ethical and other responsibilities. We are committed to ensuring that advertising, reprints, or additional commercial revenue do not affect or influence editorial decisions. Additionally, Yayasan Al-Ahliyah Al-Islamiyah Aek Badak and the Editorial Board will assist with communication with other journals and publishers if useful and necessary.
Publication Decisions
The editors of Al-Murabbi Journal of Islamic Education are responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The validation of the work in question and its importance to researchers and readers should always drive such decisions. Editors may be guided by the policies of the journal's editorial board and constrained by applicable legal requirements regarding defamation, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. The editors may consult with other editors or reviewers in making this decision.
Fair Play
An editor evaluates manuscripts at all times based on their intellectual content without regard to the author's race, gender, sexual orientation, religious beliefs, ethnic origin, nationality, or political philosophy.
Confidentiality
The editor and any editorial staff must not disclose any information about a submitted manuscript to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.

Peer Review Process
Peer review assists editors in making editorial decisions and through the editorial communication with authors can also assist authors in improving papers.
Article manuscripts submitted online to the AL-MURABBI Journal of Islamic Education will be examined by the editorial board regarding scope, in-house style, and plagiarism. Manuscripts that meet the focus and scope of AL-MURABBI Journal of Islamic Education will proceed to the review process which will at least be reviewed by reviewers with a double-blind commitment. Reviewers are journal partners of experts who are concerned with the field of journals. The editor will send an e-mail to the selected reviewer regarding the title and contents of the manuscript, as well as an invitation to log into the journal's website to complete the review process. Reviewers log on to the journal's website to agree to do the review, download the manuscript, submit their comments, and vote on recommendations. The review process by the reviewer is carried out for at least two weeks. The results will be returned to the author for further action. Eligible papers will be published in English.
Speed
Any selected referee who feels unqualified to review the research reported in a manuscript or knows that its rapid review is not possible must notify the editor and withdraw from the review process.
confidentiality
Any manuscripts received for review must be treated as confidential documents. They may not be shown or discussed with others except as permitted by the editors.
Objectivity Standards
The review must be carried out objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees must express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Source Acknowledgment
Reviewers should identify relevant published work that has not been cited by the author. Any statement that an observation, derivation, or argument has been previously reported must be accompanied by a relevant citation. Reviewers should also call the editor's attention if there are substantial similarities or overlaps between the manuscript under consideration and other published papers of which they are personally aware.
Disclosure and Conflict of Interest
Privileged information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal gain. Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have a conflict of interest resulting from competition, collaboration, or other association or association with any author, company, or institution associated with the paper.
Retraction
Articles published in the AL-MURABBI Journal of Islamic Education will be considered withdrawn from publication if:
1. They have clear evidence that their findings are unreliable, either as a result of errors (e.g. data falsification) or honest errors (e.g. miscalculations or experimental errors)
2. the findings have previously been published elsewhere without proper cross-reference, permission, or justification (i.e. a case of over-publication)
3. it constitutes plagiarism

Writer
According to the AL-MURABBI Journal of Islamic Education's public publication policy, only researchers who contribute to works in the truest sense of the word are considered as authors. Authors should be responsible for disclosing all personal and financial relationships, which may bias their work. Financial relationships such as employment, consultants, share ownership, honorarium, paid expert testimony can be classified as the most easily identified conflict of interest and most likely to undermine the credibility of the journal. To clarify the issue of conflict of interest, the author must submit a letter to the editorial office that accompanies the submitted manuscript and explicitly states whether there is a potential conflict or not.
Peer Reviewer
The Peer Reviewer shall be responsible for objecting to the review process if there is a substantial conflict of interest. If there is any doubt, they should consult the Editor to make a decision regarding the review process. Researchers from the author's institution should not be considered as peer reviewers to prevent conflicts of interest.
Editor
The editor should be responsible for managing the review process and have the right to reject any submission in the event of a conflict of interest. They must not have any direct personal and/or financial conflict with the manuscript assigned to them. They should not be assigned to a manuscript if they are on the list of authors.

Please find rights and licenses in Al-Murabbi Journal of Islamic Education. By submitting articles/article manuscripts, the authors agree with this policy. No special document signing required.

Non-commercial use of the article will be governed by the Creative Commons Attribution license as currently featured in the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike 4.0 International License.
2. Author's Guarantee

Publication Fee
Al-Murabbi Jurnal Pendidikan Islam charges APC fees, but registration fees are not charged. All registration processes are free, while publishing requires a fee.

**Carefully read the Author Guidelines as follows:**
**A. General Requirements**
Manuscripts submitted to Al-Murabbi Journal of Islamic Education should be research-based papers that have not been published or are under consideration elsewhere.
Manuscripts must be written in English or Indonesian. They should be typed in MS Word doc format, using 11-pt Times New Roman font; with left and top margins of 3 cm, and right and bottom margins of 3 cm; Spacing Exactly 18 pt with A4 paper size; 8-18 pages in length or 6000-9000 words.
The manuscript will be reviewed by subject reviewers, while the editors reserve the right to edit the manuscript for format consistency without altering the substance.
Ensure that the manuscript is prepared using the Article Template. Use the Online Submission Guidelines to access the Open Journal Systems (OJS).
The manuscript must be submitted through OJS (Al-Murabbi Journal of Islamic Education). For confirmation, the Submission Checklist and Statement of Originality must be emailed to the Journal Editor (almurabbijurnalilmupendidikan@gmail.com).
Citations and references should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) 7th Edition style and use Reference Management Software ZOTERO (http://www.zotero.org) or MENDELEY (www.mendeley.com).
The manuscript should be checked for grammar, structure, spelling, etc. It is advised to use Grammar Checker Software GRAMMARLY (http://app.grammarly.com).
**B. Manuscript Structure**
The article structure includes (a) Title; (b) Author(s) Name; (c) Affiliation; (d) Email Address; (e) English Abstract and Indonesian Abstract; (f) Keywords; (g) INTRODUCTION (WITHOUT heading); (h) RESEARCH METHOD; (i) RESEARCH FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION; (j) CONCLUSION (and Suggestions); (k) Acknowledgements (if necessary); and (l) REFERENCES.
Title: The title of the article should be written in a simple, concise, and informative form in a phrase or clause format (Capitals-lowercase, Bold, Center, Times New Roman font 12, max 14 words).
Author(s) Name: The full name of the author(s) must be written without academic titles in Times New Roman 12 pt font.
Affiliation: The affiliation (Full name University, and country) should be written below the name in Times New Roman 11 pt font.
Email Address: The email address of the Corresponding Author should be written below the affiliation in Times New Roman 10 pt font. (The Corresponding Author will handle correspondence at all stages of refereeing and publication, also post-publication; this responsibility includes answering any future queries about the Methodology and Materials of the paper). Ensure that the e-mail address is given and that contact details are kept up to date by the Corresponding Author.
English/Arabic Abstract and Indonesian Abstract: Each manuscript must be accompanied by an abstract; it should be clear, descriptive, and provide a brief overview of the problem studied. The abstract should not contain figures, tables, equations, or citations, and should be between 150-250 words and written as a single paragraph in English in Times New Roman font 11 pt, single spaced. The abstract should include the purposes of the research, methodology, and findings. The abstract should end with a comment on the importance of the results or a brief conclusion.
INTRODUCTION: This section is to introduce your paper including the background of the study, issues to be solved, and reviews of related findings which consist of 700-1000 words (1.5-2.5 pages) with Times New Roman font 12 pt, line spacing 1.5 pt with A4 paper size, and should be written without a heading. The introduction should include key references to appropriate work. It states the significant contribution of the research. The introduction should consist of the background of the study, research context, literature review, and research objective (at the end of the introduction). The introduction should explicitly state the research gap and show the scientific merit or novelty of the research. All introductions should be presented in paragraph form, not as bullet points.
RESEARCH METHOD: This sub-heading must consist of a brief description of the methods of the research; including research design, sources of the research (population/sample/participants of the research, instruments used, techniques of data collection, and data analysis) without sub-heading, which consists of 1-2 paragraphs (150-300 words or 0.5-1 page). It is written in Times New Roman 12 pt font with line spacing of 1.5 pt.
RESEARCH FINDINGS AND DISCUSSION: This section will describe the research findings, then complete with a discussion. It must consist of 1500-4500 words (8-10 pages). Research Findings is the explanation of the results of the research based on data analysis whether it is in qualitative or quantitative approaches. The findings section consists of a description of the results of the data analysis to answer the research question(s). The findings should summarize (scientific) findings rather than provide data in great detail. Please highlight the differences between your results or findings and previous publications by other researchers. This section should be explained in several subsections with a detailed explanation of the findings. The First Sub-Topic (Finding 1): The author(s) should make a sub-topic in bold type and capitalize each word. The findings are the description of the result, and it can be completed with chart(s), graphic(s), diagram(s), or table(s); The Second Sub-Topic (Finding 2): The findings should summarize (scientific) findings rather than providing data in great detail. Please highlight the differences between your results or findings and previous publications by other researchers. This section should be explained in several subsections with a detailed explanation of the findings; The Third Sub-Topic (Discussion): This sub-heading describes the relationship of your findings to theory and other research findings. It is not for repeating the research findings or the theory, but to elaborate on the result. The author(s) must show the novelty of this study compared to others.
CONCLUSION: This section is in paragraph form and consists of 1-2 paragraphs (300-500 words or 0.5-1 page only). It should clearly indicate the findings. It also explains the advantages and disadvantages of your findings, and the potential for developing the research.
Acknowledgements: If necessary, you should state in this sub-section about the involvement of other parties or institutions in the research conducted, written in just 2-5 sentences.
REFERENCES: Every source cited in the body of the article should appear in the References, and all sources appearing in the References should be cited in the body of the article. The references should be more up-to-date (published in the last 5-10 years). The primary sources cited in your paper are in the forms of journal articles, proceedings, and research reports including theses and dissertations that can be accessed online (show the DOI address/URL). Citations from online journal articles should be at least 80% of the total references cited. The References should be presented alphabetically and chronologically and be set to Times New Roman 12 pt font, justified, with single line spacing and hanging indent. Check each reference against the original source (author name, volume, issue, year, DOI number). Please use the Reference Manager Application (ZOTERO/MENDELEY) to manage the references for your paper. Use other published articles in the same journal as models.
