Upaya Peningkatan Minat Belajar Siswa pada Mata Pelajaran PAI Materi Zakat Melalui Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning (PBL) di Kelas V UPTD SD Negeri 38 Marsonja
Abstract
This study aims to improve students' learning interest in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) on the topic of zakat through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in Grade V at UPTD SD Negeri 38 Marsonja. This research employs a quantitative approach with a classroom action research (CAR) design, conducted in two cycles. Each cycle consists of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection phases. The results of the study show that the application of the PBL model can enhance students' learning interest in PAI, particularly in the topic of zakat. In the first cycle, the average learning interest of students increased by 25% compared to before the PBL model was applied. In the second cycle, the observation results showed further improvement, with 70% of students showing very high interest in the topic of zakat. This indicates that PBL can be an effective strategy to enhance student engagement in PAI learning and their understanding of zakat.
