Abstract


The progress of a nation can be seen through the level of education it has achieved, which plays a significant role in shaping the nation's character. Education helps individuals develop their potential and personality through a learning process involving interaction between educators and learners. This process can take place in various environments, such as family, school, and society. School-based learning, particularly in Islamic Education, plays a crucial role in improving the quality of education in Indonesia. However, many challenges arise in learning, including difficulties in understanding abstract material and applying it in daily life. The use of an appropriate teaching method is essential to overcome these challenges, and one such method is Problem-Based Learning (PBL). This study aims to improve student learning outcomes on the topic of "Berakhlak with the Five Asmaul Husna" by applying the PBL model in grade V of SD Negeri 32 Beringin Jaya. Observational results indicate that the methods used so far have not been effective, and the PBL model is expected to increase student engagement and enhance learning outcomes
