Upaya Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Siswa Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Problem Based Learning pada Materi Indahnya Saling Menghargai dalam Keragaman di Kelas V Sekolah Dasar Islam Terpadu Ummi A’yuni
Abstract
Education continuously evolves to meet the demands and challenges of preparing high-quality and competitive human resources. Islamic Religious Education (PAI) plays a crucial role in shaping students' personalities and moral values. However, the learning outcomes of PAI at SD ISLAM TERPADU UMMI A’YUNI indicate that many students lack attention during lessons and struggle to meet the Minimum Competency Criteria (KKM). Out of 16 students, only 7 (43%) achieved KKM, while 9 (57%) did not. The low learning outcomes are attributed to the lecture method used by teachers, which is one-directional and less engaging for students. Therefore, innovation in learning is necessary by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model. This model is expected to enhance student engagement and improve their learning outcomes in PAI subjects. This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes by applying the PBL model to the material "The Beauty of Mutual Respect in Diversity" in the fifth grade of Sd Islam Terpadu Ummi A’yuni.
