Penerapan Problem Based Learning untuk Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Pai Kelas VIII 3 SMP pada Materi Menjadi Pribadi yang Amanah dan Jujur di UPTD SMP Negeri 2 Silangkitang

Abstract


Islamic Religious Education (PAI) has an important role in shaping the character of students at the Junior High School (SMP) level, especially in instilling moral values such as honesty and trustworthiness. However, the challenges of globalization and technological advances have made it difficult to internalize religious values among students. One method that is considered effective in increasing students' understanding of Islamic values is Problem Based Learning (PBL). This method focuses on problem-based learning, which allows students to be actively involved in the learning process and apply the concepts they have learned to real situations. At Silangkitang 2 Public Middle School, the implementation of PBL is expected to increase students' understanding of the concepts of honesty and trust, as well as improve their academic achievement. With a student-centered approach, PBL can increase students' active involvement in the learning process, build critical thinking skills, and instill Islamic values in everyday life.
