Penerapan Metode Active Learning dengan Pendekatan Problem Based Learning (Pbl) untuk Meningkatkan Motivasi Belajar Siswa dalam Memahami Surah Al-Kausar Kelas III SD di UPTD SD Negeri 47 Aek Batu

Abstract


This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Active Learning method with a Problem-Based Learning (PBL) approach to enhance the learning motivation of third-grade students at UPTD SD Negeri 47 Aek Batu in understanding Surah Al-Kausar. The research method used is classroom action research (CAR) with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The subjects of this study were 30 third-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and learning motivation questionnaires. The results indicate that the implementation of the Active Learning method with the PBL approach significantly increased students' learning motivation. This was demonstrated by the students' increased engagement in the learning process, a deeper understanding of Surah Al-Kausar, and an improvement in the average student scores from the first to the second cycle. The success factors of this method include active student involvement in problem-solving, group discussions, and the use of interactive learning media. Thus, the Active Learning method based on PBL can be an effective alternative to enhance students' motivation and understanding of Islamic religious studies in elementary schools
