Peningkatan Hasil Belajar Siswa Menggunakan Metode Problem Solving pada Pelajaran Pendidikan Agama Islam Materi Mustahik Zakat
Abstract
This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) lessons by implementing the problem-solving method on the topic of zakat beneficiaries (mustahik zakat) in Class VI of UPTD SD Negeri 30 Tanjung Mulia during the 2024/2025 academic year. The research employs a classroom action research (CAR) approach conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the problem-solving method effectively improves students' learning outcomes. In Cycle I, the average student score reached 70, with a classical completeness rate of 65%. In Cycle II, the average score increased to 85, with a classical completeness rate of 90%. This improvement occurred because the problem-solving method encourages students to actively engage, think critically, and solve problems related to the application of zakat in everyday life. Thus, the use of the problem-solving method has been proven effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes in PAI lessons, particularly on the topic of zakat beneficiaries. This method is recommended as an alternative teaching approach to improve students' conceptual understanding of religion and critical thinking skills.
