Penerapan Model Problem Based Learning dalam Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar pada Materi Memahami Hakikat dan Mewujudkan Ketauhidan dengan Syu’abul Iman

Abstract


This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes on the topic "Understanding the Essence and Realizing Monotheism through Syu’abul Iman" in Islamic Religious Education by implementing the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in grade X at SMK Negeri 1 Idanogawo, Nias Regency. The PBL model was chosen because it motivates students to think critically, solve problems, and relate the concepts learned to real-life situations. This research uses a quantitative approach with classroom action research (CAR) consisting of two cycles. Each cycle involves stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. Data were collected through learning outcome tests, observations, and interviews. The results show a significant improvement in students' learning outcomes in the second cycle compared to the first cycle, both in terms of material understanding and active student engagement in the learning process. The implementation of the PBL model also successfully increased students' motivation to learn about monotheism and Syu’abul Iman. Therefore, the Problem-Based Learning model has proven to be effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes on the topic "Understanding the Essence and Realizing Monotheism through Syu’abul Iman" in grade X at SMK Negeri 1 Idanogawo, Nias Regency.
