Abstract


This study aims to improve students' learning outcomes in the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) subject on the topic of Welcoming the Age of Puberty through the implementation of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model in the fourth-grade class at UPTD SD Negeri 26 Teluk Panji I. This research employs a classroom action research (CAR) method conducted in two cycles, which include planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The subjects of this study were 28 fourth-grade students. Data collection techniques included learning outcome tests, observations, and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the PBL learning model significantly improved students' learning outcomes. The improvement was reflected in the increase in the average student score from 65 in the first cycle to 83 in the second cycle. Additionally, there was an increase in students' active participation in the learning process and a better understanding of the concept of Welcoming the Age of Puberty. Thus, the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) model has proven to be effective in enhancing students' learning outcomes in the PAI subject for the fourth-grade class at UPTD SD Negeri 26 Teluk Panji I.
