Upaya Meningkatkan Motivasi dan Kemampuan Shalat Dhuha dengan Metode Problem Based Learning (PBL) Siswa Kelas 4 SD Negeri 105378 Semenara

Abstract


Dhuha prayer is a sunnah prayer that has many virtues in Islam, however, grade 4 students at SD Negeri 105378 show low understanding and motivation in carrying out this prayer. This research aims to increase students' motivation and ability to understand and carry out Duha prayers through the application of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) method. The focus of this research is limited to 4th grade elementary school students, with the aim of increasing their motivation and ability to perform Duha prayers. This research uses the Classroom Action Research (PTK) method with the Kemmis and McTaggart model which consists of four stages: planning, action, observation and reflection. The research results showed that the application of the PBL method succeeded in increasing student motivation from 30% in the initial condition to 75% in the second cycle, and students' ability to perform Duha prayers increased from 40% to 80%. Thus, the PBL method has proven to be effective in increasing the motivation and ability of grade 4 students at SD Negeri 105378 in carrying out Duha prayers.
