Meningkatkan Minat Belajar Siswa Kelas IV dalam Pembelajaran Beriman kepada Rasul Allah Swt. Melalui Metode Kartu Sortir (Card Sort)

Abstract


This study was conducted to analyze the low learning interest of students in the Islamic Religious Education subject for Grade IV at SD Negeri No. 085115 Sibolga. Based on the teacher's assessment, several indicators of low student interest were identified, including: (1) students' learning outcomes did not meet the minimum competency standards (KKM 75%), (2) student engagement in the learning process was very low, with frequent in-and-out classroom behavior, (3) students perceived learning as a burden, making them reluctant to ask questions or express opinions due to fear of making mistakes, and (4) students quickly felt bored due to a lack of teaching methods that actively involved them. To address this issue, various efforts have been made, such as remedial programs, additional learning hours outside school hours, and the provision of learning facilities. However, these measures have not significantly improved students' interest in learning. Therefore, more innovative and participatory strategies are needed to enhance student engagement in Islamic Religious Education.
