Penerapan Pembelajaran Kontekstual untuk Meningkatkan Hasil Belajar Zakat

Abstract


This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in the topics of zakat, almsgiving, and infaq through the contextual learning method. The research was conducted in two cycles, demonstrating success by linking the material to real-life contexts. In the first cycle, 8 out of 13 students achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC) of 75, with an average score of 75.77, an improvement compared to the pre-cycle score of 65. Additionally, students’ social aspects also improved, as shown by the social observation score of 14.84. Challenges encountered included the inactivity of some students during group discussions and variations in material comprehension. Solutions implemented included remedial activities, enhanced interactions, and the use of relevant learning media. Recommendations include fostering active student engagement, applying interactive learning methods such as project-based learning, reflecting on teaching methods, and providing adequate facilities for the school. This study also suggests effective time management, balanced evaluations, and remedial programs to support optimal learning outcomes.
