Penerapan Metode Talqin dan Muroja’ah dalam Meningkatkan Kualitas Hafalan Q.S Al- Ma’un di Kelas V SD Negeri 105370 Petuaran Hilir Kabupaten Serdang Bedagai
Abstract
This study aims to improve the memorization quality of Q.S. Al-Ma’un among fifth-grade students at SD Negeri 105370 Petuaran Hilir through the application of the talqin and muroja’ah methods. Conducted in two cycles, the research shows that these methods effectively enhanced students' memorization. The average memorization score increased from 71 in Cycle I to 83 in Cycle II, accompanied by a boost in students’ confidence in reciting individually. Pre-talqin tajwid practice significantly reduced errors in tajwid and makhraj, resulting in smoother and more accurate memorization. Grouping students based on ability also played a crucial role in assisting struggling students, as more capable students helped their peers better understand and memorize the material. Challenges included low-performing students requiring additional attention and limited learning time. Therefore, further evaluation is needed to improve learning effectiveness. Recommendations include strengthening tajwid practice before talqin, allocating more time for individual muroja’ah, creating more structured groupings, and utilizing learning media such as audio recordings and applications to cater to diverse learning styles. Increasing parental involvement in guiding students’ memorization at home is also critical. Regular evaluations and reflections after each cycle are essential to monitor student progress and address existing challenges. Overall, the talqin and muroja’ah methods are effective in improving students’ memorization quality. However, improvements in time management and additional guidance for low-performing students are necessary for achieving more optimal results.
