Peranan Guru Akidah Akhlak Dalam Meningkatkan Akhlakul karimah Siswa Mts Negeri 4 Mandailing Natal
Abstract
The purpose of writing this article is to find out what the role of teachers is in improving students' morals and what are the supporting factors and obstacles for teachers in improving students' morals. This research uses a descriptive qualitative method, namely a method used to get a picture of something as it is. Descriptive research is research that intends to systematically, factually, and accurately describe facts, situations, or events. The results of this research are the role of teachers in improving students' morals, namely with teachers as models, teachers as mentors, teachers as advisors, and teachers as facilitators. The supporting factors are schools that have a religious nuance so that students are more religious and Islamic, and religious teachers who always play a role. active in developing and guiding students, lots of lessons and activities that lead to moral development so that the students' souls have better morals, such as morning assembly, congregational midday prayers, yasinan, and tahlilan every Friday, a school atmosphere that is family-friendly and humanistic. so that mutual advice advises each other, the inhibiting factors are, the influence of a family atmosphere that is not harmonious and peaceful in the household, the influence of the environment in which students live in a society which is less conducive, the influence of the rapid development of increasingly sophisticated science and technology, the influence of peers and playing games will mislead students.
