Pelaksanaan Hukuman dalam Pendidikan Islam di Pondok Pesantren Al-Shoulatiyah Padangsidimpuan
Abstract
This research tries to find out how educational punishment is implemented at Al-Shoulatiyah Padangsidimpuan. This started with the problem of how a teacher applies punishment to naughty students, so that some students asked to leave the Al-Shoulatiyah Islamic Boarding School. Padangsidimpuan City, Batunadua. According to research, punishment is defined as an unpleasant consequence given by a teacher to students who break rules or engage in undesirable behavior with the aim of helping them learn from their mistakes and improve. Research findings show that in implementing punishment in the classroom at the Al-Shoulatiyah Padangsidimpuan Islamic Boarding School, Batunadua, Padangsidimpuan City, teachers must follow certain guidelines: punishment must be appropriate, fair, and carried out in a calm environment. . In addition, punishment must be followed by an explanation, not just physical punishment. Researchers at the Al-Shoulatiyah Padangsidimpuan Islamic Boarding School, Batunadua, Padangsidimpuan City found that instead of immediately punishing children, teachers had to go through a series of steps. The impact of using punishment in the classroom at the Al-Shoulatiyah Islamic Boarding School is as follows: increasing students' attention in the learning process, generating, maintaining and increasing students' learning motivation, directing the development of students' thinking towards divergence, controlling and modifying students' productive behavior. (a) punishment with gestures such as glances; (b) punishment through words; and (c) punishment through actions.
