Abstract

Islamic religious education has an important role in shaping students' character and spirituality, especially at the elementary education level. One of the materials taught is understanding the Names of Allah, which aims not only to introduce His names, but also to explore their meaning and application in everyday life. However, teaching this material often faces challenges, especially students' difficulties in understanding abstract concepts and less interesting learning models. As a solution, the Problem Based Learning (PBL) approach can be applied to encourage students' active involvement in the learning process. PBL focuses on providing relevant problems, so students can relate the material to their real experiences. This research aims to evaluate the application of PBL in improving student learning outcomes on the Names of Allah material at UPTD. SD Negeri 32 Ujung Gading. It is hoped that the research results can contribute to the development of teaching methods that are more effective, interesting, and able to increase understanding and application of religious values in everyday life.
