Peningkatan Kepedulian Petani terhadap Lingkungan dengan Penanaman Pohon

Abstract

Deteriorating environmental quality cannot be separated from human or community responsibility. Concern for the environment needs to be increased for the sake of human survival in the future. Attitudes that care about the environment can be improved, one of which is through outreach activities about planting trees on land. This activity was carried out in Purwodadi Village, Padangsidimpuan Batunadua District. This activity is a collaboration between Lecturers at Graha Nusantara University and Rumah Pintar Acibu, Purwodadi Village. Tree planting is a community devotion in Purwodadi Village carried out in 3 stages. The first stage was a location survey in the rice field area in Purwodadi Village. The second stage is preparation for providing seeds to be planted. The third stage is tree planting and outreach with the surrounding community. Devotion through counseling main role in preserving the environment by planting trees on agricultural land. Consequently, farmers realize that by planting trees between cultivated crops, apart from improving farmers' welfare, they can also preserve the environment.
